Profile

Winner of over 90 titles worldwide, Laura Davies is arguably the greatest English female golfer of all time and one of the best in the world.

The only player to have featured in 12 Solheim Cup events, helping the continent to wins in 1992, 2000, 2003 and 2011, totalling 25 points from 46 matches, Davies was named a Member of the British Empire (MBE) in 1988 by Queen Elizabeth II.

That high honour was followed by being named a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in 2000. In 2015, Davies received the highest honour presented by the Queen as Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE).

Laura Davies, a four-time major champion, was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame on Monday, July 13, 2015 in St. Andrews, Scotland.
